Amazing.
Despite the many buyout offers from Microsoft Yahoo! just keeps on chugging. They’re focused and down to business. Today they announced that they’re improving their mobile phone software with oneSearch 2.0 and a new version of their Go client.
Amazing.
It doesn’t seem like this is a company that might be bought out and merged into another one. Absorbed into Microsoft and creating an online power that could rival Google.
It just doesn’t seem like that at all.
Maybe it’s possible that cooler heads prevail? Yahoo! focuses on Yahoo! enough and they increase their worth. Increase it enough and maybe Microsoft backs down… maybe. It sounds a bit farfetched, but so does Yahoo! concentrating Yahoo! when Microsoft is trying to buy them out.
How would you run a company that is possibly going to be bought out by the largest software company in the world?
All that comes to mind is one word.
